Terms of Service

The short version. You keep your data. Follow the platform rules Vega connects to. AI output is signal, not advice — you decide what to publish. No warranty; use at your own responsibility.

1. Agreement

By creating a Vega account or using the service at vega.social, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Vega does

Vega is an AI-first social media intelligence tool. It reads public activity from social accounts you connect, generates directional signals with a confidence level (never verdicts), and lets you compose and publish to those accounts.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
One account per person. Sharing credentials violates these terms.
You are responsible for any activity under your account.

4. Fair use

You agree NOT to use Vega to:

Publish spam, harassment, illegal content, or infringe others' rights.
Scrape, resell, or redistribute other people's data.
Reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass access controls.
Circumvent any platform's terms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.). If you break their rules, you're on the hook, not us.

5. Third-party platforms

When you connect Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, or another platform, you're also bound by that platform's terms. Vega acts on your behalf using OAuth — the platform owns the underlying account, not us.

6. AI output

Vega generates insights and drafts using an AI model — either your own key (BYOK) or a shared setup. AI output is directional and may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish or act on it.

Vega frames all model output as a signal with a confidence level. We never present it as fact.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you connect, upload, or write in Vega. You grant us a limited license to process it only for the purpose of running the service for you (fetching metrics, publishing posts you author, generating insights you request).

8. Fees

The current pricing is shown on the site. Some features (real AI generation) require you to bring your own API key with the AI provider; those provider charges are billed to you by them, not us.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use Vega in a way that risks Vega, other users, or the platforms we connect to. You may close your account any time from Settings.

10. Disclaimer

Vega is provided "as is", without warranties. We do our best to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uptime, accuracy of AI output, or that a platform integration will keep working (platforms can change their rules).

11. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Vega's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost revenue, missed opportunity, reputational harm).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email. Continued use after an update means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Disputes go to the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless local consumer protection law gives you a different right.
